The O.G Cool Tool was the O.G multi-tool. Bob had patents on it, so when Ritchey started making multi-tools, they had to pay Bob some amount for every tool they made. Eventually Bob sold the whole shooting match to Gerber, but the Cool Tool was the first specifically thought out "a bunch of tools in one" approach to having something in your pocket or bag to help get you out of trouble. I still have mine... somewhere!
